I'm unsure which brand they use but this kind had those stick-like strands in it. Hard to believe this for a business of color. It used to be too salty but now it's like they just used a dash flavor. I get home and I really am not impressed! The food was barely seasoned almost no taste at all. I looked online and it was listed as that price and in the Cafe. Somehow it ended up being $15.89 bringing my total up to $17 and change. I ordered a meal that was supposed to be $14.99. Haven't been to Forsyth in well past 10+ years.and now I understand why. Moreover, there was nothing memorable about the customer service received. The dish itself gave resemblance to something you would get at a fish fry fundraiser through your local church or school. I don't feel like the price of the plate reflects through the taste of their food. Would I go back to Forsyth Seafood? I don't know if I would go back. However, I did not taste much seasoning on my fish. Once back and ready to eat, my food was ok. It did not take long for my food to come up, and I was walking out of the door in no time. So I ordered their two-piece fish plate that comes with a side, hushpuppies, and slaw. After touching the notebook screen and noticing there was no menu, I asked someone behind the counter if she was taking orders and was told yes. So, I was unsure if I were to order through the notebook or with a person. They had tables with card readers and mini-computer notebooks in front of their counter. So, upon walking into the café portion, I was slightly confused about their ordering system. The Forsyth Seafood Market & Café was near, and I knew I needed to arrive early to beat the lunchtime rush. On this day, I was looking for seafood and convenience. The Forsyth Seafood Market & Café Experience (Carryout Edition). Hopefully, corporate can save this location before it perishes in the sea. What is going on? Does management not care or corporate? In my opinion, Red Lobster is on the decline from exhaustion during their moult. I pass this location all the time to see an empty parking lot to a once vibrant business. In most cases, I would have called management to complain however, I prefer to take the stance not to go back. Also, they did not provide me with an entire container of lobster bisque. Whoever made my food was aware the lettuce was brown but packed it anyway. I was disappointed in the presentation of my meal and the taste. The cranberry juice looked like pink water and had no cranberry juice flavor. The garlic-grilled shrimp was tasteless, and I was unaware the meal would come with rice. Once home, I noticed my bowl of lobster bisque looked like a cup, and half of the lettuce in my salad was brown. After placing my order, the system provided a pick-up time, and once at the location, my food was ready.
So I placed my order through their website and ordered a bowl of lobster bisque and a child's garlic-grilled shrimp with a ceaser salad and cranberry juice. On this day, I had a taste for lobster bisque because Fall is here in the great state of North Carolina, and it was chilly. The Red Lobster Experience ( Online Order/ Pick-up Edition).
